About
Multifacet Mom is about sharing all the struggles of today. We are pushed to "Have It All," but is that an amazing opportunity or just setting us up to feel like we are failing. Check out real stories of learning, loss, and lessons as Multifacet Mom explores a variety of career options will being a mother of three.
I'm Rayna and so far I have degrees in Theatre, Interdepartmental Science, Teaching Science, and Mathematics Education. I'm one of those strange people who loves learning, standardized tests, and "badges," as my husband likes to refer to my accomplishments. I love to have a variety of experiences, though sometimes I feel that the mantra of "keeping your options open" can negatively affect the career paths that are available. I have been lucky to work in the entertainment, sales, education, and marketing industries in various capacities and through these positions have been able to travel throughout several countries on four continents.
I also have been blessed to be a mother, though sometimes it definitely feels more difficult than all those cheerful celebs on instagram seem to make it. I have a four year old girl as well as infant twin girls. One of our twins is on the long road in the NICU (#PrayersforBabyB) and one has entered her heavenly home much too far ahead of schedule for her father and me.
Follow me as I attempt the delicate balancing act of trying to be a mother, wife, sister, daughter, teacher, and myself, or the Multifacet Mom.
